This hands-on, inclusive course is designed for neurodivergent students or those needing adaptive supports and offers a supportive environment where everyone can learn at their own pace. Participants will build practical First Aid and CPR skills that can be used in everyday life — from responding to minor injuries at home to knowing what to do in an emergency at work or in the community.
Students will leave this course with official certification and the confidence to act quickly and safely when it matters most. Learning these skills not only promotes personal safety but also strengthens independence and employability — especially for roles in recreation, childcare, community programs, and other settings where basic medical knowledge is valued.
This empowering class focuses on preparedness, calm decision-making, and creating personalized emergency plans for home and community safety.
Course Includes:
Certified First Aid & CPR instruction
Official certification upon completion
Hands-on, experience-based learning
Adapted curriculum for neurodivergent learners
Personalized home and community safety planning
Class Location: Oregon City or Canby. Specific location TBD.
