ARNW BOUGHT A VAN
Over the past SIX years, ARNW has relied on rented and borrowed vehicles to keep our programs and camps running. To continue growing while ensuring safe, reliable transportation for every trip, we’ve taken a leap of faith this year and Adventure Ready NW recently purchased a transport van to provide safe travel and to accommodate all students together in one vehicle.

Safe & Reliable Transportation: Upgrading from rented & borrowed vehicles to our own dedicated ARNW van ensures top-tier safety standards, comfortable travel, predictable maintenance, and reliability & flexibility for every adventure!
More Trips & Greater Capacity: Owning our own transport vehicle allows us to expand group sizes, run concurrent programs, and offer more frequent camp and program excursions throughout the year.
Access to New Destinations: A dedicated van gives us the flexibility to reach remote trailheads, parks, and wilderness sites without rental constraints or strict and limiting pick-up/drop-off windows.
Gear & Equipment Ready: A vehicle that we can have more control over gives us space to safely transport specialized outdoor gear—from climbing gear to packs to bikes to skis and swim gear—right alongside our participants without limiting seating.
Long-Term Community Investment: Every dollar raised helps pay off the vehicle, reducing recurring rental overhead and directing more resources back into enriching our outdoor programs.
