Join Adventure Ready NW this September for a weekend of community, nature, and connection at the beautiful Tumalo State Park! Nestled just outside of Bend, this campout offers families a chance to unplug, explore, and enjoy the stunning high desert scenery together.

About the Weekend: We’ve reserved two large group tent sites and three cozy yurts (each sleeping 4–5 people, one pet-friendly!) for families to choose from. Your registration includes light breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, a Saturday BBQ lunch, and access to fun, facilitated group activities throughout the weekend. Prefer to find your own lodging but still want to join the fun? No problem—you can register for activities only, too!

Lodging Options:

  • Tent Camping: Spacious and pet-friendly, the group tent sites offer room to spread out and enjoy classic camp vibes. Need a tent? We’ve got you covered with two large tents and a few smaller ones available upon request. Restrooms and showers are just a short walk away. Just add to cart the total amount of people who will be tenting with you. Group tent cost is per person.

  • Yurts: Want a bit more comfort? Our three Tumalo State Park yurts come with mattresses, heating, and electricity. These cozy shelters book fast, so reserve early if you'd like to “yurt it up”! Yurts can sleep 4 comfortably! Just add 1 to cart to cover your group.

Activities: Enjoy all the fun Tumalo has to offer—float or wade in Tumalo Creek, take a hike, fish, trail run, or simply relax at the riverside with a good book. Saturday evening, we’ll head over to the nearby Tumalo food carts for a casual dinner and a taste of Central Oregon’s local eats and drinks.
